Meta has introduced a new feature called “Missions” in the V102 update for Horizon Worlds, the company’s metaverse social VR platform. This feature allows users who complete various objectives or “missions” on certain worlds to unlock exclusive rewards for their Meta Avatar, such as the Sea Captain Outfit. One of the missions is to score a hole in one at Giant Mini Paddle Golf, a virtual mini golf course set on a tropical island with a giant crab and Kraken. The feature is currently being tested by a select group of users and will be rolled out to more users in the coming weeks.
In addition to this new feature, the V102 update also includes bug fixes that address avatar thumbnails, builder mode, selection boxes, and other issues.
