Polyarc is creating a new multiplayer VR game

Polyarc, the developer behind the popular Moss series, has announced a registration for the upcoming multiplayer VR game they’re developing. The game will be launched later this year and is said to be a significant addition to the competitive VR gaming scene. The company says that they noticed a rising interest in competitive multiplayer gaming for VR headsets. As the number of VR gamers grows, Polyarc is looking to create new competitive titles that appeal to this growing community.

The CEO of Polyarc, Tam Armstrong, stated that they are excited about this opportunity and that virtual reality offers exciting opportunities for multiplayer gaming. The ability to read the other player’s focus and intent while moving your head and hands are some of the elements that make in-person gaming so attractive. Polyarc is eager to share what they have been working on and the fun they’ve had playing it.

Polyarc is known for their acclaimed VR game, Moss, which has a huge fan base. Due to its wonderfully immersive storytelling, art, and gameplay, Moss received over a hundred nominations and awards from various gaming organizations. The sequel, Moss: Book 2, was named Best VR/AR Game at the Game Awards, proving the title isn’t a one-hit wonder.

Polyarc wants to create fantastic games that everyone can enjoy, whether they’re a VR veteran or a VR newbie. The VR audience has been growing, with tens of millions of gamers joining and more user-friendly and affordable headsets being released each year. Polyarc aims to reach more audiences within VR and even create a space for new people to join them there.

Those who are interested in participating in the upcoming game test can sign up for the next playtest scheduled to take place from April 14 to 16. While the company plans to bring the game to multiple platforms, you will need a Meta Quest headset to participate in the upcoming game test.
